I made €60k in 2 months while traveling in 5 countries

But I couldn't stick to my 12 Startup Challenge

Hey there,

It’s been almost 2 months since my last update…

Some of you were following my 12 Startup Challenge. What happened?

Right after launching Buzzclip.io, I got introduced to a team of entrepreneurs working on a mental health app. The concept was solid. So instead of diving into my next solo project, I decided to join forces part-time.

Why?

Because it was a golden opportunity:

  • Building something with real impact mental health matters.

  • Playing with new tech: AI, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), vector databases.

  • Staying fully remote and continuing my world tour.

  • Generating extra cashflow, buying more runway before the dreaded 9-to-5 looms.

But I didn’t stop there. I delegated half the workload so I could keep building my own projects on the side.

And suddenly, I realized I was juggling seven projects at once. SEVEN.
(yes like the horror movie 🩸 👀)

Spoiler: not sustainable.

Not because ideating is hard. Not because building is hard. But because marketing is the real beast.

You can be great at one or two things. Good at the rest. But that’s usually not enough.

The truth?

  • You can’t launch 7 projects successfully at the same time.

  • Context-switching burns mental bandwidth fast.

  • Spinning too many plates leads to burnout. Fast.

So here are two pieces of advice I’d give past-me (and maybe you):

👉 Pick 1 or 2 projects a month. Commit. Ship. Then move on.

👉 Partner with someone who’s better than you at something vital, especially for marketing, sales, or design.

Your time and energy are limited. Use both wisely.

That’s it. That’s the play.

Now, for the life updates. Since my last post, I’ve been bouncing around Europe, beyond my home base in France:

🇹🇷 Turkey
🇮🇹 Italy
🇱🇻 Latvia
🇱🇹 Lithuania
🇵🇱 Poland

Vilnius - Lithuania

Still building. Still flying. Still figuring it all out.

This is not the life I was supposed to live… but this is the kind of life I wanted.

So I woke up.

And I shaped it that way.

If I can do this, so can you.

Let’s build something legendary.

Cheers,
Eric
